Texas Tech Football Schedule

Ever since the Texas Longhorns beat USC to capture its National Championship several years ago they have sparked a competition between in state rival Texas Tech. Last year Graham Harrel and Michael Crabtree (both of whom have since graduated) led the team to several marvelous victories and ended the regular season ranked third in the Big 12 behind Texas and Oklahoma respectively. This year the Texas Tech Football Schedule is no different from years past in terms of Big 12 and competition abroad. The main difference being that the top two play makers from the Raiders 08 team are now graduated and onward to the NFL. The schedule is as follows.

September 5th vs. North Dakota

September 12th vs. Rice

September 19th at Texas

September 26th at Houston

October 3rd New Mexico

October 10th Kansas State

October 17th at Nebraska

October 24th Texas A&M

October 31st vs. Kansas

November 14th at Oklahoma State

November 21st vs. Oklahoma

November 28th at Baylor

Despite the key losses mentioned above I think you have to give Texas Tech a serious chance to only loose two of its games this upcoming season in Texas with returning quarterback Colt Mccoy and Oklahoma Sam Bradford. For the most part the other teams on the Texas Tech Football Schedule look to be essential “push overs” by general standards. If the Raiders can some how make it back to greatness this year despite their very key losses it would definitely be considered one of the top performances of a team returning stronger than ever despite having less talent than before. Though it would seem unlikely that last years Heisman hopeful in Colt Mccoy from Texas and the 74th Heisman winner in Sam Bradford in Oklahoma. As always it will be an interesting and exciting season in both the Big 12 and the surrounding conferences.

I was at the Game tonight and TX Tech played a good game on both sides of the ball. UT just wore them out! Too many penalties called against both teams.

Hook em Horns!
